The Ellen L. Stovall Award is a unique opportunity to recognize advocates and health care practitioners who are pioneers in transforming the cancer care system. The award is named after longtime CEO of NCCS, Ellen L. Stovall, who passed away in 2016 from long-term effects of her previous cancer treatments. In her more than two decades of service and leadership at NCCS, Ellen crusaded for the delivery of quality cancer care to all Americans. Honoring her legacy, the award is given annually to individuals, organizations, or other entities that have played a significant role in improving the quality of cancer care for all cancer survivors in the United States. We are grateful to our friends and supporters who have helped raise over $1.2 million since 2016 to support the vital work of NCCS. Because of supporters like you, we can empower survivors and advance policy to transform health care for all people touched by cancer.
